Based on the belief that a hotel should contribute to urban development as a nexus of numerous facilities, Mori Trust Group is actively expanding its hotel business with a focus on mixed-use redevelopment projects. Concurrently, the Group is also developing high-quality hotels that offer a wide range of facilities in carefully selected resort locations.

In addition to managing and operating the Laforet brand hotels—a line of hotels Mori Trust Group has founded—the Group operates international brand hotels, i.e., Conrad Tokyo and the Westin Sendai, and manages domestic brand hotels such as Mampei Hotel in Karuizawa. Other aspects of its diverse hotel business include investment in the ROYAL HOTEL, LIMITED, operator of RIHGA Royal Hotels.

Laforet Club was Japan's first hotel and resort club for corporate members. In addition to operating its own Laforet hotels, resorts, and golf clubs, the Group collaborates with other hotels and service providers in Japan to offer a range of services. Utilizing corporate membership business expertise accumulated over the last 30 years and a network comprising some 700 companies and 7.4 million individuals, the Group adapts to meet the changing needs of members over time.

Mori Trust Group has attracted international hotel brands to its development projects: Conrad Tokyo and Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, as part of its mixed-use urban redevelopment projects; and the Westin Sendai in the recently completed Sendai Trust City complex.
