SHIROYAMA GARDEN
Named for the ruins of a family castle (shiro) located here during the Edo Period, Shiroyama-cho was home to many of Japan's feudal lords.
The Shiroyama Garden complex, completed in 1991 and named after this historic neighborhood, combines high-tech offices and luxury rental accommodation, plus an embassy and TV station.
The Kamiyacho district of Minato-ku in which Shiroyama Garden is situated lies close to the government office district and boasts a high concentration of Japanese and foreign top-tier companies, shops, restaurants, cultural amenities, and embassies.
A sizeable expatriate community has also taken root here, creating a premier district both for international commerce and residential life in a neighborhood of character and cultural significance.
Shiroyama Garden offers the advantages of the multifaceted potential of this district, blending the high status of the neighborhood with the convenience of its location and state-of-the-art urban amenities as a model for upmarket mixed-use urban development.
