Implementation of green space development in consideration of ecosystems We implement the development of green spaces in consideration of the environment and ecosystems for projects undertaken throughout Japan, including in central Tokyo.
  • Development of large-scale green spaces with biodiversity in mind at Tokyo World Gate and Tokyo World Gate Akasaka
  • Conservation of green spaces at resort hotels in various regions
Introduction of standards for recycled paper and promotion of paperless operations In addition to limiting the use of printing paper to 100% recycled paper, we are reducing deforestation and paper waste by promoting paperless activities such as the elimination of paper stocks and the introduction of PDF-based faxing.
Reduction of specified plastic consumption In addition to cutting down on plastic, reducing the amount of plastic used and replacing single-use plastics with environmentally friendly materials, we will promote efforts to eliminate plastic through cleaning and through the reduction of the amenity replacement at hotels.
Reduction of the disposal of materials used in building interiors at office buildings By eliminating the concept of standard interior specifications at office buildings, we promote the spread of “creative floors” which serve to reduce the disposal of standard materials used in building materials when it comes to construction work undertaken when a tenant moves in.

Investment in renewable energy projects such as the promotion of solar power generation Mori Trust Energy Park Izumizaki supplies a maximum output of approximately 10 MW (the amount of electricity used by approximately 3,200 households). Mori Trust Energy Park Lake Biwa supplies a maximum output of approximately 2 MW (the amount of electricity used by approximately 700 households). In addition, we are promoting the installation of solar power generation facilities at complex facilities in central Tokyo.
We are aiming for investments of 35 billion yen for renewable energy projects such as those having to do with solar power generation.
Introduction of renewable energy By 2025, 100% of Mori Trust’s leased buildings will be powered by renewable energy.
