Equipping offices with BCP functions to handle disaster situations At several offices, including at Tokyo World Gate, we have developed functions that enable us to continue operations for approximately one week in the event of a disaster situation.
We also conduct earthquake drills and simulations for disaster occurrences, and maintain a system to ensure the safety and security of our customers in the event of an emergency.
Development of spaces for people unable to return to their homes due to disaster situations In the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake, many facilities, including Sendai Trust City, took in people who were unable to return to their homes and provided support in various ways, such as through the provision of stockpiled supplies, information, and mobile phone charging spaces.
By 2025, we will have 4,500 m² of space for people who are unable to return home in such situations.

Implementation of COVID-19 vaccinations for local communities and stakeholders In response to the pandemic which started in 2020, we have provided vaccination opportunities to not only our own employees, but also to local communities and stakeholders.
Provision of thoroughly clean spaces which provide peace of mind The Pure wellness room service uses U.S. patented technology to provide spaces which offer peace of mind not only in terms of the air, but also in terms of the cleanliness of the physical elements in those spaces. It is designed to provide safe and comfortable trips for visitors, support business continuity in the event of an infectious disease outbreak, and improve the quality of life of customers at home, at school and in all other settings.

Communication of regional characteristics, history and culture We will establish historical and cultural communication facilities at Tokyo World Gate Akasaka. In addition, we provides tourism information which leverages the culture and characteristics of the entire country at TIC TOKYO, and holds events with themes that are based on the local history in the Shinagawa Gotenyama area.
The Mori Trust Herb Garden will also contribute to the branding of growing regions by developing and supplying original herbal teas from around the country.
Preservation and utilization of historic buildings When it comes to hotel projects in Kyoto, Nara and Nagasaki, we will leverage existing historical buildings and pass them on to future generations.
Support activities in various regions Aiming to develop together as a member of the community, we are engaged in various contribution activities, such as street and beach cleanups, providing support to entities such as impoverished nations, and training local human resources by sending lecturers to vocational schools.
Holding of events and seminars in cooperation with surrounding companies and organizations We organize and operate community development organizations in cooperation with local companies and organizations, and hold events and seminars to discover, refine, and communicate information on the charm of local communities.
Umbrella sharing to reduce disposal of umbrellas in the Kamiyacho area With the aim of reducing the number of disposed umbrellas, we have introduced an umbrella sharing system at several properties owned by our company in the Kamiyacho area, thereby achieving a balance between greater convenience for the local community and environmental friendliness.
Provision of lounge space that is open for local communities At Tokyo World Gate, we provide a lounge which connects local communities and offices, which serves as a community space where various people gather. The lounge will communicate information on good products from all over Japan to both domestic and overseas markets, contributing to the development and growth of local communities and Japan in general.
